These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the website iuris.help and the legal-guidance service provided by Iuris SAS. By using the site or booking a consultation, you agree to these terms.

1. Our service

Iuris provides general legal information and guidance to private individuals on family law, contracts, consumer rights and inheritance. Our service helps you understand your situation and your options. Where a matter requires representation before a court or a formal legal act, we will tell you and explain when a lawyer or notary is needed.

2. No lawyer-client relationship by default

Using the website or receiving general guidance does not create a lawyer-client relationship and is not a substitute for formal legal representation. Guidance is based on the information you provide; please make sure it is accurate and complete.

3. Bookings and fees

Each consultation is offered at a fixed fee that is communicated and agreed before the consultation begins. You will not be charged more than the amount confirmed in advance. Payment terms are set out at the time of booking.

4. Your responsibilities

You agree to use the service lawfully, to provide truthful information, and not to misuse the website or attempt to disrupt its operation.

5. Limitation of liability

We provide our service with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, Iuris is not liable for decisions you take based on general guidance, or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under French law.

6. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page applies to your use of the service.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute will be subject to the competent courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules.
